Police Seek Public Help in Search for Missing Woman in Mynämäki
Police in Southwest Finland are appealing for public assistance in locating a 28-year-old woman who went missing in Mynämäki on Thursday evening. The woman was last seen on Vanharavanti Street (also referred to as Vanharaveantie) and has not been heard from since.
According to authorities, the missing woman is approximately 165–170 centimetres tall and of slightly stocky build. She was reportedly wearing shorts, a reddish-brown T-shirt, grey sneakers, and carrying a black shoulder or belt bag at the time of her disappearance. Ilta-Sanomat has published a photo of the woman released by police to aid in the search.
The police urge anyone with information about the woman’s movements or whereabouts to contact their tip line at 0295 417259 or send details via email to vihjeet.lounais-suomi@poliisi.fi. The case is being handled by local authorities, who have not disclosed further details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Mynämäki is located roughly 30 kilometres from Turku (Ilta-Sanomat). The search remains active, with authorities relying on public cooperation to gather leads.
