Biltema Recalls Camping Chairs Due to Safety Risk

Biltema is recalling a specific model of camping chairs from the market after identifying a quality defect that poses an injury risk. The recall affects chairs with product number 37-516, which were sold until 30 June 2025.

According to Biltema, the defect may cause the chair’s aluminum profiles to bend, potentially leading to accidents. Yle reports that the company has received information indicating the product could pose a safety hazard. Customers who own the affected model are advised to stop using it immediately.

Biltema is offering full refunds to all customers who return the chair to any of its stores, even without a receipt. Iltalehti notes that the recall applies to the eight-position camping chair with the specified product number. The company has urged customers to act promptly to avoid potential injuries.
