Over Half of Finns Rate Orpo Government’s Performance as Poor Amid Coalition Infighting and Rising Opposition Support

A recent survey commissioned by Helsingin Sanomat reveals that a majority of Finns believe Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s government has failed in its core responsibilities. According to the poll, 52 percent of respondents describe the government’s performance as "poor" or "fairly poor," while only 21 percent rate it as "good" or "fairly good." This marks the weakest approval rating for Orpo’s government since it took office, based on six surveys conducted during its term (Helsingin Sanomat, via Yle and Ilta-Sanomat).
