Rebl Eats Recalls Massaman Curry Soup Batches Over Safety Concerns
Rebl Eats Oy, a Helsinki-based food company, is recalling several batches of its Rebl Eats Massaman Curry soup due to a potential safety risk, the Finnish Food Authority announced on Tuesday. The recall affects 320-gram packages with best-before dates of 30 June 2026, 2 July 2026, 7 July 2026, and 10 July 2026.
According to the Finnish Food Authority, the issue stems from a manufacturing error in which the vegetables in the soup were likely not cooked sufficiently. This may compromise the product’s safety before its stated best-before date (Helsingin Sanomat, Iltalehti). The affected batches have been sold primarily in stores belonging to the K Group and S Group (Yle, Iltalehti).
Rebl Eats has advised consumers not to consume the recalled soups. Customers seeking a refund are instructed to take a photograph of the product, including its date marking, and send it via email to hello@rebleats.com. Once the image is submitted, the product should be discarded (Helsingin Sanomat, Iltalehti).
