Police investigate violent incident involving youths near Puuhamaa amusement park
Police are investigating a violent incident involving several youths near the Puuhamaa amusement park in Tervakoski, Janakkala, on Wednesday evening. The assaults were reported to authorities around 6:30 PM, prompting a response from Häme Police.
Two police patrols were dispatched to the scene, where officers found a group of youths engaged in a dispute. Yle reports that one of the individuals involved had previously been removed from the Puuhamaa area. While the exact number of participants remains unclear, Detective Inspector Jani Stepanoff of Häme Police confirmed that over five people were present at the time of the incident.
According to Stepanoff, the altercation resulted in two recorded assaults linked to the same violent situation. Several individuals are suspected of involvement, though the exact number has not been disclosed due to the ongoing investigation. The suspects include both minors and adults, with some described as "relatively young" (Yle).
