Raimo Tienhaara, a 68-year-old figure long associated with Finland’s criminal underworld, has been sentenced to one year and nine months of suspended imprisonment for aggravated tax fraud, smuggling, and alcohol offenses. The Helsinki District Court delivered the verdict on Thursday, concluding a case involving large-scale illegal imports of cigarettes, alcohol, and snus between 2021 and 2023.
