Teenager sentenced to 11.5 years for brutal murder of 42-year-old man in Pyhtää, motive still unknown
The District Court of Eastern Uusimaa has sentenced an 18-year-old man to 11 years and six months in prison for the murder of a 42-year-old family father in Pyhtää in November 2023. The court also convicted him of aggravated violation of domestic peace and driving a vehicle without authorization. The sentence was mitigated due to the defendant’s age at the time of the crime—he was 15 years old when the killing occurred.
