Finland imposes new aviation and maritime restrictions in eastern Gulf of Finland amid recurring drone threats near Saint Petersburg
The Finnish Defence Forces have established temporary restriction zones for aviation and maritime traffic in the eastern Gulf of Finland on multiple occasions in recent days, including a new activation on the morning of Monday, 7 July, at approximately 06:10. The latest measures were announced via the messaging service X, with the Defence Forces advising operators to verify current restricted areas before commencing travel (Ilta-Sanomat).
