Woman Detained in Kajaani After Allegedly Spitting and Biting Security Guard

A woman was taken into custody early Sunday morning in Kajaani following an altercation at a restaurant, during which she is suspected of assaulting a security guard. Ilta-Sanomat (IS) reports that the incident began after the woman caused a disturbance, prompting the security guard to intervene.

According to police, the woman became aggressive, spat at the guard, and bit them. A patrol arrived at the scene and detained her. A crime report has been filed on suspicion of resisting a person maintaining order and assault (Iltalehti).

The Oulu Police Department also reported multiple cases of suspected drunk driving over the weekend. Ilta-Sanomat states that drivers suspected of aggravated drunk driving were apprehended in Reisjärvi, Kajaani, and Kuhmo on Saturday.
