Missing 20-Year-Old Man with Down Syndrome Sought in Lahti
Police in Lahti are urgently seeking assistance in locating a 20-year-old man who disappeared on Tuesday afternoon. The missing individual, who has Down syndrome, was last seen around 5:30 p.m. in the Metsäkangas district (Ilta-Sanomat).
According to authorities, the man is approximately 160 centimeters tall and has a distinctive walking style. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and shorts, and has a spiky or crew-cut hairstyle (Iltalehti; Ilta-Sanomat). The disappearance occurred near Teemu House on Kasakkamäentie (Iltalehti).
The public is asked to report any sightings immediately to the emergency number 112. Police emphasize the importance of prompt reporting due to the man’s vulnerability.
