Elderly man missing from care home in Merikarvia
Police in Southwest Finland are searching for an 86-year-old man who went missing from a care home in Merikarvia. The man, described as being in good physical condition, may have difficulty finding his way back and is capable of moving independently over long distances (Ilta-Sanomat, Iltalehti).
The missing individual was last seen wearing a blue checkered shirt, a leather vest, jeans, and wooden shoes, also known as clogs. He may also have been wearing a cap (Ilta-Sanomat).
Authorities urge anyone with information about the man’s whereabouts to contact the police situation center at 0295 447088 (Iltalehti). The search remains ongoing.
