S-Pankki launches €571 million tender offer for Oma Säästöpankki

S-Pankki has announced a tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Oma Säästöpankki, valuing the Finnish savings bank at approximately €571.4 million. Under the terms of the offer, shareholders will receive €17.20 per share, a 47% premium over Oma Säästöpankki’s closing price prior to the announcement (MTV Uutiset).

The objective of the tender offer is to merge the two banks and subsequently delist Oma Säästöpankki from Nasdaq Helsinki’s regulated market, according to S-Pankki’s press release (Yle). The offer period is set to begin next Friday (MTV Uutiset).
