Posti resumes parcel shipments to the United States after year-long suspension
Posti has reinstated the ability to send packages and parcel letters to the United States through its online services, following a suspension that began in August 2025. The suspension was triggered by a decision from then-U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration to remove the duty exemption for shipments valued at up to 800 dollars (approximately 740 euros). Return of services with new requirements
Customers can now send parcels to the U.S. via Posti’s online parcel shipping service. The process requires users to declare the contents of their shipment and pay applicable customs duties, service fees, and shipping costs. Exemptions and fees
