Patient Medical Records Found in Waste Container Outside Pietarsaari Hospital
Patient medical records were discovered in a waste container outside Pietarsaari Hospital on Thursday evening, prompting an investigation by the Wellbeing Services County of Ostrobothnia. A passerby noticed the documents and reported the incident, after which the papers were immediately collected (Yle).
The Wellbeing Services County is examining how the confidential documents ended up in the outdoor waste container.
