Motocross Rider Flees Police in Pattijoki, Suspected of Gross Endangerment of Traffic Safety

A motocross motorcycle rider fled from police in Pattijoki during the night between Saturday and Sunday, driving at a significantly excessive speed in a populated area. The incident occurred on Marintie Road, where the rider evaded authorities while posing a risk to public safety.

The Oulu Police Department is investigating the case as aggravated endangerment of traffic safety (Iltalehti). According to police reports, the motorcyclist drove past a group of moped riders gathered near Marintie while attempting to escape (Ilta-Sanomat; Iltalehti).

The suspect was described as wearing gray clothing and a black helmet. The motocross bike involved was a yellow Suzuki RM 125 model (Ilta-Sanomat; Iltalehti).
