Police in Western Uusimaa are urging a potential witness to come forward following a fatal traffic accident on Highway 25 in Raasepori on 21 June. The incident, which occurred near the Horsbäck industrial area at approximately 12:40, resulted in one death and injuries to two others.

The accident involved a collision between two passenger vehicles, with preliminary investigations suggesting one car suddenly veered into the oncoming lane. Four people were in the vehicles at the time of the crash. The case is being investigated as endangerment of traffic safety, involuntary manslaughter, and causing bodily injury (Ilta-Sanomat).

Authorities are attempting to locate the driver of a vehicle—possibly a Volkswagen Tiguan—captured on a nearby car’s dashcam. Police emphasise that the individual is not suspected of any wrongdoing but may have critical information about the sequence of events. MTV Uutiset reports that the witness has not yet been identified through other means, prompting the public appeal.

The Western Uusimaa Police Department requests that the driver contact them via email at vihjeet.lansi-uusimaa@poliisi.fi or by calling the tip line at +358 295 438 488 (Ilta-Sanomat). Investigators continue to interview bystanders and review evidence as part of their efforts to determine the cause of the accident.
