Reckless Construction Loader Incident and Multiple Fights Reported in Oulu
Police in Oulu detained a minor driving a construction loader in a dangerous manner on Friday night. Ilta-Sanomat reports that the underage driver was intoxicated, lacked a valid driving license, and had fled from a placement facility. Authorities suspect the individual of aggravated drunk driving and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The driver was held overnight at the Oulu Police Station (Ilta-Sanomat; Iltalehti).
According to Iltalehti, the skid-steer loader was taken from its storage location without permission. Police noted that the situation could have resulted in serious consequences but fortunately did not.
