First Detection of Deadly Synthetic Opioid Protonitazepyne in Finland Linked to Possible European Production
A lethal synthetic opioid, protonitazepyne, has been identified in Finland for the first time following the death of a roughly 40-year-old man from Tampere in June. The substance was discovered during an autopsy conducted by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), marking the first known case of its presence in the country.
