Train traffic on the Ring Rail Line in the capital region has been temporarily suspended following an accident involving a passenger car on the tracks. The disruption is causing delays and cancellations for I and P trains, according to Fintraffic’s Rail Traffic Center.

The incident occurred between Kivistö and Aviapolis railway stations, where a car drove onto the railway tracks. Rescue services are on site working to remove the vehicle, though no estimate has been provided for when train services will resume (Iltalehti; MTV Uutiset).

Fintraffic has confirmed that the suspension will affect scheduled services, though the full extent of the delays remains unclear. Passengers are advised to check for updates on alternative travel arrangements.
