16-year-old boy missing in Lahti, police seek public assistance

Police in Häme are appealing for public assistance in locating a 16-year-old boy who has gone missing in Lahti. The teenager was last seen in the area and is believed to be moving within the Päijät-Häme region.

The missing boy is described as approximately 185 cm tall, slim, and weighing around 60 kg. He has short dark hair and was possibly last seen wearing a hoodie, black sweatpants (or "college pants," as described by Ilta-Sanomat), and black Calvin Klein sneakers. Iltalehti reports that authorities have not suspected any criminal activity in connection with his disappearance.

According to police, the missing teenager may be in the areas of Lahti, Orimattila, or Asikkala. Residents in these regions are urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings. MTV Uutiset confirms that all observations should be directed to the police via email at vihjeet.hame@poliisi.fi.

The Häme Police Department continues to investigate the case, and the public’s cooperation is requested to help ensure the boy’s safe return.
