Body Found in Aura River in Turku
Southwest Finland Police have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in the Aura River in Turku on Wednesday afternoon. The police received an emergency call at approximately 14:00 reporting a potential deceased person in the river (Iltalehti; Ilta-Sanomat).
A police patrol dispatched to the scene confirmed the observation, identifying the body in the water. The authorities are currently working to determine the deceased’s identity, the cause of death, and the circumstances surrounding the incident (MTV Uutiset).
