Police in Kuopio are searching for a seven-year-old girl who went missing on Wednesday afternoon in the city center. The child was last seen around 16:30 on Vuorikatu.

The missing girl is described as approximately 120 centimeters tall with a slender build. She has light-colored, bobbed hair and was last seen wearing a blue-and-white top with star patterns and denim shorts. MTV Uutiset reports that authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings.

All potential sightings should be reported immediately to the emergency center by calling 112. The police have not provided further details on the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance (Iltalehti).
