Eastern Uusimaa Police have reported a scam involving the sale of tickets to a non-existent event in Martinlaakso, Vantaa. The tickets, advertised on Snapchat, were sold for prices ranging between €2.50 and €10, with buyers told the event would take place on Vihertie.

According to police, between 50 and 100 young people have already gathered at the location, and authorities warn that more may arrive as the evening progresses. Yle reports that no actual event is being organized at the site, and police are urging young people to avoid going there.

Iltalehti notes that the incident is being treated as a scam, and parents are advised to contact their children who may have been planning to attend the event to confirm their whereabouts. Those who purchased tickets and wish to make a claim are encouraged to file an electronic crime report, including the address Vihertie in their submission.

Ilta-Sanomat (IS) confirms that police suspect the ticket sales were fraudulent, with no legitimate event planned at the advertised location. Authorities continue to monitor the situation.
