Search underway for missing 66-year-old man in Nokia

Police in Eastern Finland are searching for a 66-year-old man who went missing in Nokia on Thursday morning. The man was last seen on Näsiänkatu, and authorities are urging the public to assist in locating him.

The missing man is described as being of small stature, wearing black trousers and a black T-shirt. Ilta-Sanomat reports that he moves with difficulty, limping. The Voluntary Rescue Service (Vapepa) has joined the search efforts alongside police.

Anyone with information about the man’s whereabouts is asked to contact the emergency number 112 immediately. Both Iltalehti and Ilta-Sanomat have provided details of the ongoing search.
