Secret Filming Scandal at Turku School Expands with New Charges, Additional Victims, and Clarified Role of Suspect

Southwest Finland Police have concluded a preliminary investigation into a series of secret filming incidents involving a former school assistant, with the most extensive offences occurring at St. Olof’s School’s upper and lower secondary schools in Turku. The suspect, a 25-year-old man, is accused of installing hidden cameras in multiple locations, including a girls’ changing room, a vocational school, and private residences, resulting in over 200 victims. MTV Uutiset reports that the number of complainants has now risen to approximately 80, with new allegations emerging during the investigation, though Helsingin Sanomat specifies the total as around 70 complainants across all incidents.
