Deadly Plane Crash in Peru Claims 13 Lives

A small aircraft carrying tourists crashed in southern Peru on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of all thirteen people on board. Yle reports that the accident occurred when the plane went down, citing information from Peruvian police.

The victims included eleven passengers and two pilots. According to Ilta-Sanomat, the plane was flying over the Nazca Lines, a renowned archaeological site, at the time of the crash. The incident was confirmed by a local television channel, which referenced the Reuters news agency.
