Elderly man drowns in Mallasvesi, Pälkäne

A man in his 70s drowned in Mallasvesi, Pälkäne, on Saturday evening. The incident was reported to authorities at approximately 7:30 PM, according to the rescue department and police (Yle).

The man had been swimming with a friend when he sank below the surface. Rescue divers located his body 6–8 meters from the dock (Yle).
