Woman Dies After Being Pulled From Water at Turku Boat Dock

A woman died on Tuesday after being rescued from the water at the Uittamo boat dock in Turku. The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 PM, when a passerby noticed the woman floating in the water and alerted emergency services (Iltalehti; Ilta-Sanomat).

A bystander managed to pull the woman out of the water and began resuscitation efforts. Despite these attempts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene (MTV Uutiset; Iltalehti).

Police, rescue authorities, and emergency medical services responded to the incident and conducted an on-site investigation. Authorities have stated that they do not suspect foul play and are continuing to determine the cause of death (Iltalehti; MTV Uutiset).
