Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident in Teuva Claims One Life
A fatal traffic accident in Teuva on Thursday evening resulted in the death of one person, according to authorities. The incident occurred on Kauhajoki Road when a passenger car veered off the road, crossing both the oncoming traffic lane and a cycle path before coming to a stop in a ditch.
The Pohjanmaa Police received a report of the accident at approximately 20:40. The driver, who was found in the vehicle at the driver’s seat, was declared deceased at the scene. Yle reports that the car had been traveling from Teuva toward Kauhajoki when it left the road.
The police are investigating the case as a determination of the cause of death.
