Missing 50-year-old man still sought in Turku as car found in Parainen
Southwest Finland Police are continuing their search for a 50-year-old man who disappeared in Turku last week, after his car was discovered empty near a guest marina in Airisto, Parainen. Authorities are urging the public to assist in the search by checking yard areas, storage spaces, and other outdoor locations in the vicinity.
The man, described as 175–180 centimetres tall, athletic, and of average build, was last seen on Thursday, 30 July. Police have been conducting searches with the help of volunteer rescue services since last weekend (Ilta-Sanomat). A photograph of the missing man has been released with the permission of his relatives (Ilta-Sanomat).
At this stage, authorities do not suspect criminal activity in connection with the disappearance (MTV Uutiset, Ilta-Sanomat). However, they are requesting that anyone with information about the man’s movements—or any unusual observations in the Airisto guest marina area—contact them immediately at 0295 417 259.
