Young Man Dies in Fatal Traffic Accident in Vihti
A young man died in a traffic accident on Highway 1 near the Palojärvi junction in Vihti early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 5:00 AM, when the car veered off the road and collided with a rock face before catching fire.
Western Uusimaa Police confirmed that the victim was an adult but relatively young. At the time of the accident, he was the only occupant of the vehicle. Helsingin Sanomat reports that the man died at the scene. According to police, no other vehicles were involved in the crash (Helsingin Sanomat; Ilta-Sanomat).
