The Finnish Security and Intelligence Service (Supo) has received multiple requests from researchers and a research group to access the so-called Tiitinen list, a document containing the names of individuals suspected of ties to the East German intelligence service, Stasi. The list, compiled in 1990 under then-Supo chief Seppo Tiitinen, has long been a subject of public and political debate.
