Elderly man reported missing in Jyväskylä

Central Finland Police are searching for an elderly man who went missing in Jyväskylä on Friday, 14 August. The man was last seen in the early hours of the morning in the Palokka district.

According to police, the missing man is approximately 170 centimetres tall and slender. He was wearing a checked collared shirt and blue trousers at the time of his disappearance. MTV Uutiset reports that he walks with a forward-leaning posture and short steps.

Authorities are urging the public to report any possible sightings of the man to the emergency centre by calling 112. The appeal for assistance has been reiterated by multiple sources, including Ilta-Sanomat and Iltalehti.
