The child, born to the Lehtola family at 00:03 on 14 August, was welcomed as the 700,000th resident of the Finnish capital. The newborn weighed 4,084 grams and measured 54.5 centimetres in length, marking a symbolic moment in the city’s rapid growth Yle reports.
