Fire damages building and machinery in Western Uusimaa
A medium-sized building fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning, prompting multiple emergency alerts in Western Uusimaa. The Western Uusimaa Rescue Department confirmed that post-fire extinguishing operations were still underway at around 5:00 AM (Ilta-Sanomat, Helsingin Sanomat).
The fire destroyed several pieces of work machinery, including at least a tractor and a trailer, according to the rescue department (Ilta-Sanomat). No injuries to people or animals were reported (Helsingin Sanomat).
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
