Former Nokia CEO and Author Kalle Isokallio Dies at 78
The writer and former CEO of Nokia, Kalle Isokallio, has died at the age of 78. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency confirmed Isokallio’s death to Yle, stating that he passed away on 19 August (Yle, MTV Uutiset).
Isokallio was born in 1948 (Yle, MTV Uutiset). He served as Nokia’s CEO from 1990 to 1992, a period marked by significant developments in the company’s trajectory. After leaving the corporate role, he transitioned to a career in writing, working as a freelance author from 1996 onward (Yle, Ilta-Sanomat).
