Särkänniemi and Keskinen amusement park rides experience technical faults and loud malfunction on Sunday

Särkänniemi amusement park’s new roller coaster, Konect, stalled during a ride on Sunday afternoon due to a technical fault. The incident occurred at around 5:00 PM, with the ride stopping at its first ascent and remaining stationary for approximately five minutes, according to Särkänniemi CEO Mikko Hautasaari (Ilta-Sanomat). Maintenance crews were called to inspect the attraction, and the issue was resolved without evacuating the passengers. The ride resumed normal operation by 5:30 PM.
