Proposal to move summer holidays to August divides Finns and education sector

A recent survey commissioned by the Federation of Finnish Enterprises shows that Finns are split over a proposal to shift summer holidays to August. According to the findings, 39 percent of respondents oppose the idea, while 35 percent support it. The remaining 26 percent were undecided on the matter (Yle, MTV Uutiset).
